Jaihind TV is a Malayalam channel , based in Thiruvananthapuram , Kerala. It was launched on August 17th , in Delhi by Indian National Congress President and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi. This channel is a part of the decision by Indian National Congress that the party is gearing up to launch its own TV news channels, in various states and languages in co-ordination with a group of pro-Congress NRI investors.The channel is promoted by Bharat Broadcasting Network Limited.Apart from this Malayalam version, there are plans to launch ‘Jai Hind’, in Kannada and Hindi in the course of time.
